Successful case of additive premix production line project with annual output of 60,000 tons

Project details:

1. Production scale: 2000KG/P mixer, 8 diluent batching bins, 16 additive batching bins, 2 batching scales, 2 packaging lines, and a set of palletizers;

2. Steel structure main workshop.

The project started construction in July 2018 and was completed and put into operation in May 2019. The current monthly output of additive premix is about 3,500 tons.

Key Points Of Processing Technology and Quality Control For Aquatic Puffed Feed

Extruding process technology for producing puffed feed has become a trend in the development of aquatic feed processing technology. The unique function of the extruder is to change the weight of the feed, thereby producing floating, slow settling, and settling puffed fish feed. Floating fish feed not only improves feed efficiency, but most importantly, allows farmers to see the feeding situation of fish, avoiding overfeeding and reducing feed waste. However, due to the relatively complex processing technology of aquatic puffed feed compared to other processing techniques, the processing quality of aquatic puffed feed is often unstable or some varieties cannot produce qualified products in the actual production process. There are many factors that affect the processing quality of aquatic puffed feed. Only by fully understanding the impact of extrusion process equipment and the physicochemical properties of feed raw materials on processing quality, and scientifically changing the extrusion and puffing operating conditions, can the processing quality of aquatic puffed feed be effectively controlled and the one-time pass rate of products be improved.
Extrusion Expansion——Changes of Nutrient Components in Materials During Extrusion Expansion

This text systematically introduces the changes of different nutrients in feed during the extrusion expansion processing, including carbohydrates (starch, fiber, hydrophilic colloids, and sugar), protein, fat, vitamins, minerals, as well as the effect on anti-nutritional factors: carbohydrates undergo specific changes like starch gelatinization, with different categories showing varied impacts on extrusion effects and feed properties; protein produces denaturation, thermal denaturation, enzyme inactivation, and decreased dispersibility, which improves protein digestibility while causing certain losses of amino acids through Maillard reaction; part of fat forms complexes with starch and protein, which reduces free fat content, slows down fat oxidation in storage without affecting digestibility; heat-sensitive vitamins suffer different degrees of loss that can be reduced by stabilisation treatments, while extrusion generally does not destroy minerals but affects their bioavailability; the biggest advantage of extrusion expansion processing is that it can effectively destroy most anti-nutritional factors in feed raw materials, such as trypsin inhibitors, free gossypol and glucosinolates, and processing parameters determine the destruction effect, with twin-screw extrusion achieving the best inactivation effect on anti-nutritional factors.
